Take Your Legislator to Work

The UDDC Take Your Legislator to Work Program is in full swing! UDDC Executive Director, Libby Oseguera, and Representative Tim Quinn of the Utah State Legislature visited Wasatch Brewery employee James O’Neill and his manager Meredith Risley at the Park City brewpub. James showed Rep. Quinn all the hard work he does that helps encourage patrons to return. Meredith explained the critical role James plays in the health, safety, and happiness for Wasatch employees, brewers, and customers.

Representative Ken Ivory visited his constituent, Brandon, at his community-based job at Cinemark 24 Theaters at Jordan Landing. Brandon and his job coach, Ashley, showed Ken all the detailed cleaning jobs he does at the theater to keep the place nice for guests. Brandon’s favorite part of his job is the perks like hanging out with Aquaman and watching all the movies.

A special thank you to James and Representative Quinn for participating, and thank you to Wasatch Brewing for welcoming us into your restaurant! We would also like to thank Cinemark, Brandon, Ashley, and Representative Ivory, for participating in Take Your Legislator to Work!
